Ben Sorkin has been working with students to help them achieve their educational goals for almost 10 years as an advocate for increased access, equitable student experience, and continued student success. He brings specialized experience in supporting first-generation, non-traditional, and LGBTQ+ students.

Originally from New York City and a proud Specialized High School graduate, Ben went on to Harvard University and graduated with an A.B. in Sociology and a minor in Educational Studies. He holds an Ed. M. in Educational Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

Most recently, Ben served as an Assistant Director of Admission, coach, and diversity and inclusion practitioner at a highly selective New England boarding school. He has been assisting students throughout the college application and scholarship search process for 5 years, helping students achieve admission and merit scholarships to top schools across the Ivy League, Top Tier Public Universities, Small Liberal Arts Colleges, and Flagship Research Universities. He has served on selection committees for multiple national college scholarships, and brings personal experience in selective admissions and a comprehensive understanding of the college and independent school landscape.
